Purists may question her religious credentials; nevertheless, Christ The Lord is laudable for its attempt to earnestly portray the human side of Jesus, as he says, “My fear rose in me and became a thing always with me, so that all happiness seemed finally to be a dream, even in the brightest sunlight.”
