On a promotional flight to India, European plane maker, Airbus is eyeing Orders worth $15 billion in the coming two decades, from various Indian airliners for its largest passenger aircraft A380. Kingfisher Airlines has already placed an order for five aircraft s. Traditionally, A380 is used for long haul international flights but interestingly, it can also be used to connect cities in a large country like India. Though the booming aviation sector and the buoyant GDP growth rate of the country would act as a catalyst for more orders, the only glitch is the delivery schedule. The latest by which Airbus would be able to deliver an A380 is 2012-13 as they are already booked for the coming five years.
